How do I create an account?

There are 2 ways to create a Ridely account:

  1. Download the Ridely app from App Store or Google Play OR
  2. Create an account on our website Ridely.com.

Use your email address, Facebook, or Apple/Google account to create your login. If you choose to create your account with an email address there is no password needed. We will instead send you a link to the email address of your choice where you confirm your account.

How do I log into my account?

Log into your account with the same credentials that you used while setting up your account (email address, Facebook, or Apple/Google).

How do I create a horse in Ridely?

Click on the Home button in the bottom menu in the app. At the top it says Add horse. You can add as many horses as you like in the free version and PRO version.

What languages are available in Ridely?

Ridely is available in English and in Swedish.

🌟 Ridely PRO

How does it work?

When you purchase PRO you get access to all the awesome features of the Ridely app! If you make the purchase before you download the app, you create an account during your purchase. You can then download the app on AppStore or Google Play and sign in with the same user credentials. You will now have access to PRO. If you already have Ridely on your phone, you provide the email address you use in the app when purchasing. You will then have access to PRO in the app.

How do I subscribe to Ridely PRO?

You can either subscribe to Ridely PRO in the app or on our website. Please choose the subscription plan of your choice. There is also a free trial available the first time you try it out.

How do I cancel my subscription?

iOS/iPhone: If you started your subscription directly in the Ridely app you cancel your subscription directly in your phone. Go to Settings – Apple ID – Subscriptions and cancel your subscription there.

Android: You cancel your subscription through your Google account on your phone. Please click here and you will come to a short 5 step guide from Google showing how to unsubscribe from an Android app subscription.

If you started your subscription on our website, please then log in to your account on our website here and cancel your subscription there.

What does it cost?
You can find the current prices of Ridely PRO here.
I can’t access my Ridely PRO account

Please first make sure that you are logged in to the right account that you used to start your PRO subscription. You can log in either with an email address, Facebook or Apple/Google. If you are logged in to the right account it could be that the app lost the connection to Apple/Google. On the home screen of the app, click your profile in the top left. Then click “Subscribe” followed by “Restore purchase”.

Can I give away Ridely as a gift?
Yes! You can purchase Ridely PRO as a gift here on our website.
I’ve gotten Ridely as a gift, how do I get started?
Visit our website and fill in your code here.
How do I use a discount code?
If you have a discount code, you can either add it in the first step of the purchase or in the checkout. You will see if the code is valid and what price you will be paying. The code gives a discount on the first purchase only, and is currently not valid for gifts.

📆 Logging and calendar

Can I create several horses in Ridely?
Yes! Click on the Home button in the bottom menu in the app. At the top it says Add horse. You can add as many horses as you like in the free version and in the PRO version.
Can I share a horse in the app with friends, parents, trainer, co-rider etc?
Yes! Go to your horse’s page in the app, scroll towards the bottom and click on Edit team.
How do I create my own activity types?
Whenever you log or plan an activity, go to “select activity” and create a new “custom activity”. You can choose to “track intensity” on this custom activity to receive statistics on this (time spent, intensity, feelings). Add a specific color to have a good overview in your calendar!
Can I filter my calendar?
Yes! You can filter your calendar by activity type or hashtags.
Can I choose my own colors in my calendar?
Yes! You can change the colors of all your activities. Simply click “change colors” and select the activity you want to customize.
Can I add photos and videos to my activities?
Yes! You can add up to 5 photos and 3 videos that can be up to 5 minutes each.

🗺️ Track rides (with GPS)

Is there a tracker in Ridely?
Yes, you can use the Ridely tracker to get more insights into your rides.
Do I need a device to be able to track my activities?
You just need to have your phone on you to perform the tracking.
What data will I get from the tracker?
We will show your route on a map, your speed (min, max and average), the distance, as well as the duration.
Do I need to have an internet connection to be able to use the tracker?
No, you can also track rides while being offline. Your tracking will be synchronized when your phone has internet connection again.

📍 Live share (GPS tracked ride)

Can I share with someone who doesn’t have Ridely?

Yes, you can choose to share a link via any messaging app and the other person can open it in their browser (mobile or desktop) and follow your ride. They will be able to see the time that the ride started, if you completed the ride, or if you’re inactive (meaning you don’t have a steady internet connection at that particular time).

Do I need PRO to live share my ride?

Yes, the live share feature is exclusive for Ridely PRO members. You can use our 7 day free trial to see for yourself if you enjoy it!

What if I have a poor internet connection during my ride?

The live share feature works best with a steady internet connection, however, if you momentarily disconnect from the internet, your status will switch to “inactive” and the people following you will see your detailed location again once your connection is reestablished.

How can I be found, in case something happens?

The users watching you can export your exact geo-location to their Google Maps or Apple Maps app and start navigating from there.

▶️ Training videos and Training Programs

How much content is there in Ridely?
Ridely has a huge library of over 400 training and inspirational riding videos!
Do you have videos within all disciplines?
Yes! There are training videos in various disciplines including dressage, jumping, eventing, hunter/jumper, western, western dressage, flatwork, groundwork, in-hand work, grooming, fitness, sports psychology, and much more!
I want to look at your training videos on a bigger screen, is that possible?
Yes! Log in to our website and you can watch all the training videos there too!
Are there exercises for all levels?
Yes! Ridely has videos for every level of rider and horse, including basic, medium and advanced. You can also filter the content by level on the Video page.
Can I view Training Programs on the website?
At this time the Training Programs can only be viewed via the app, but you can watch all the videos individually via the website (not grouped together like in the app).

👤 Ridely account

I’m having problems with logging into Ridely
Please make sure that you are trying to log in to the right account that you used to start your Ridely account. You can log in either with an email address, Facebook or Apple/Google. If that doesn’t work, please reach out to teamridely@ridely.com and our support team will be happy to help you.
How do I delete my account?
Click on Settings on the bottom menu, then click on My account at the top, then scroll down to Delete account.

💬 Groups

What are Groups?
A Group is a safe and inclusive space where you have access to Ridely Experts and the ability to ask questions about your training and receive trustworthy answers from professionals.
How do I join a Group?
Ridely has a number of free Groups as well as Groups exclusive to Ridely PRO users. To join a Group, open the Ridely App, select ‘Groups’ from the menu then select join on the Groups you wish to join.
How long does it take to receive an answer in a PRO Group?
As each Group has multiple trainers, we aim to answer all questions within 24-48 hours.
